Tis the Season - some additional simple and make-ahead meals.

Many of the recipes this week come from Real Simple… we all need a little more simplicity this time of year. The Swedish Meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for a quick re-heated meal. Speaking of busyness, I forgot to take a photo this week, so am sharing a photo of the cousins playing on the ice.

Our first winter CSA winter share of the year has arrived. Squash, onions, beets and cabbage all found their way into our menu this week.

A mix of different ethnic cuisines both vegetarian and meat dishes... a nice balance.

This week’s menu involved trying to figure out what to serve to anxious trick-or-treaters and ways to use up beef before our next delivery. Happy Halloween!
